These Terms are in addition to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the app.

1. Your account

You need to be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Split Today. You are responsible for your account and for what you do with it. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details safe, and do not use someone else's account.

2. What Split Today is for

Split Today helps you record shared expenses, see balances and settle up with friends and household members, and send private text messages to friends. Split Today does not move money and is not a bank or payment service. Balances are only as accurate as the entries you and others make, including entries drafted by Quick Add, which you confirm before saving.

Accounts that break these rules will be disabled, and their content removed, without notice.

4. Reporting and blocking

In a chat, press and hold a message and choose Report message, or open the chat menu to Report or Block the person. Blocking stops that person from messaging you. You can also email ananto.design@gmail.com.

We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these Terms we remove it, and we disable the account of the user who posted it. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.

Chats are end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot read them. A report includes the text of the reported message only if you choose to send it with the report. The app also hides messages that look offensive until you tap to show them, and stops offensive messages from being sent. You can turn hiding off in Account → Hide offensive messages.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to Split Today. You give us permission to store, process and show it to the people you share it with, only so the app can work. You are responsible for the content you add and must have the right to share it.

6. Ads

Split Today is free and shows a small banner ad on the Home screen. See the Privacy Policy for how ads work.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using Split Today and delete your account at any time in Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we must do so to protect other users or comply with the law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Split Today is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error-free or always available, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for amounts you agree to pay or receive with other people. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is important we will tell you in the app, and you may be asked to agree again before you continue to use chat.
